What's the role?

As the Assistant Compensation & Benefit Manager, you will provide support and drive the reward strategy and components of our employee value preposition for Hilti North Asia region (HK, China, Taiwan, Japan & Korea) and thereby facilitate a diverse and mobile workforce within Hilti.

What does the role involve?

As the Assistant Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to analyze and calibrate compensation strategies within the business; provide support on the design, analysis, budgeting and implementation of regional compensation & benefit initiatives:

Compensation and Benefits

In collaboration with Finance and other functions to prepare budget and forecast.
Support during annual compensation process, including: testing Workday processes, providing manager support, prepare annual Merit increase and Bonus calculation.
Participate in multiple salary surveys and compensation data analysis.


Demonstrated understanding and application of assignment policies, allowance provisions, exception management and related international benefits.
Delivers package for all identified hiring and managed talent movements including liaise with external vendors.
Coordinates with Global Mobility Team to interpret and apply Global Mobility policies to related assignment frameworks to ensure that the correct cost projections and international employment contracts are prepared and delivered to Approvers and Hiring Managers.

What you need is:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, HR or related degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience C&B and Mobility functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese. Additional language skills is an asset.
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to work with all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to work in diverse, multi-cultural environments. Appreciation and understanding of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Willing to travel internationally when required.
